“Places” for Midsummer Evening Concert in Leiden (NL)

MIDSUMMER EVENING CONCERT

For many years, Rhijnhof, together with the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, has organized a Midsummer Evening Concert on June 21. Composition students perform new work at a location of their own choosing in the cemetery.

For this occasion, among other pieces “Places” for cello solo will be played once again by the amazing cello virtuoso Martin Alvarez.

ALL ARE WELCOME

All are welcome to the Midsummer Evening Concert at the Rhijnhof. From 7:00 p.m. there will be a reception in the coffee room of the Rhijnhof crematorium. The first performance will begin at 7:30 pm. Visitors then take a tour of the cemetery, as well as a series of mini-concerts, which leave nothing to be desired.

The Midsummer Evening Concert is a collaboration between Stichting Beheer Begraafplaats Rhijnhof, Crematorium Rhijnhof Dela and the Royal Conservatory of The Hague.
